VbaDiff

Comparing code fragments is tedious work, but it has to be done. There are numerous tools for this task available on the Internet, but VbaDiff makes it much easier. You still need a third party comparison tool, but with VbaDiff, you will be able to compare individual VBA modules without any effort. Furthermore, the application is capable of reading VBA code directly from your files, even if they are corrupt, and it can recover lost VBA code as well.

A 30-day trail version is available and it can be used without any restrictions. You can find separate installation files, for 32 and 64-bit Windows editions. Both installation files are quite small, so you can set up the application on your computer in just a few seconds.

The application's interface has a very simple design. It consists of two panels, on which you can load a pair of Excel workbooks, Word documents, Outlook macro files or PowerPoint presentations, which contain VBA projects. Once the files are loaded, the application will display their modules, classes, forms and other items in separate tree structures.

Modules are displayed with blue icons, if they have no equivalents in other document. Red icons will be displayed next to the listed modules, if they are not identical. VbaDiff can launch external programs if you want to see the actual differences. You can select third party applications, like WinMerge, ExamDiff and others, on a separate window. If a program is selected, you can run it right away by double clicking a listed module. It is also possible to export single modules as BAS files.
